And why would you need one ?
If you have a shotgun by your bed, and a
handgun or two in/on your nightstand.....
what is the need for a rifle?
If the law protects you to defend yourself inside your home
[castle law] why the need for a self-defense rifle that is
capable of shooting 500yds ?
First, I want one because it is my RIGHT under the 2A
to own and keep one. That is good enough for me.......
and should simply be good enough for you.
I never have any intention to shoot a fleeing intruder
that is running away from me......2-3-4-500yds away.
If he has fled, I ain't gonna shoot......even if I am capable....
the threat is gone, at least for the time being.
I have reasons for a rifle.....and it would take many, many words
to desrcibe why.....but the simplest reason to have a rifle, a shotgun, a handgun, and anything else is............
they are all tools that prescribe to different tasks.....such as hammers do.....finish hammer,framing hammer,mill hammer,roofing hammer, etc.........they all serve a distinct purpose !
