How many times have you opened an email where the headline says, "Life Saving Information", open now. Well most of us will open it expecting some valuable information. But in reality, you find it's just a come'on, yeah, they may have life saving information but it will cost you. They're selling this "must have" information. Now, I don't know if this is really good stuff and is worth the price but I will never find out because I refuse to pay for this type of information and I only have contempt for those that would prey on the public for personal gain.
I guess I'm just a better person than I thought, If I had information that could save your life, I would provide it FREE, no charge, zipp, Nada, without monetary compensation. And how about those political emails which say they have "must have" information, when you open it, they mostly want a donation or want to sell you a book! I never donate to any cause that asks for a donation, that's just me. Having a donation box in case you might want to donate is fine but don't force me to donate in order to see what you have.
And of course, the newest scam is the important video that will change your life with the note (This video may be forced off the internet, so act quickly). Bull shit, these aren't videos at all, they're just a power Point presentation to get your money. When I suspect a video is of this type, I immediately close it and if a box appears and says "Do you really want to leave this page", I close it out because I now know they want my money.
I guess I better stop ranting because if I continue I could use up your entire day, so i quit!
