This is my personal recipe and it's so gooood!
Directions:
1. Fill large pot 3/4 full of water 2. Add stew beef, Beef cubes, shoe peg corn and bay leaves bring to a boil turn down to med heat (beef jucies will accumulate on the surface, stir til mixed in well) 3. Dice the onion and add to the pot 4. Thinly slice celery and add to the pot Turn temp low-med, cook for about 1 hour 5. add tomatos and chopped cabbage and everglades seasoning cook for another hour 6. Add potatoes
Soup is done when potatos are soft (Remove Bay Leaves Before Serving) This is the way I like it, you can add whatever you're comfortable with
Ingredents:
1-Cabbage (coursely chopped) 2-Stalks of celery (Sliced thin) 3-4 small baking potatos (Cut into Spoon size pieces) 2-small packages (or 1 large) of stew beef (cut as necesssary) 1-2 cans drained Shoe Peg Corn 2 beef cubes 1 large onion 2 Bay leaves Everglades Seasoning 1 Can Whole tomatos, juice and all Parsley
I warn you, I like lots and lots of vegetables but after the first couple of servings, the vegetables will thin!

And if you happen to be one of the few that doesn't recognize Everglades Seasoning, here is a link to their history. WalMart carries it...Kroger did, Publix,....etc. evergladesseasoning.com/history/
