Having lived on Maryland's Eastern Shore, I'm expected to know how to steam crabs, so this is the way I do it!
Directions:
Rinse crabs good
1. Mix vinegar, beer, water and Old Bay 2. Place crabs evenly, covering bottom of crab pot 3. pour on portion of concoction on each layer 4. Sprinkle sea salt over each layer 5. Add new layer and repeat steps 1-4 above until all crabs are used, pour on remaining liquid 6. Cook until crabs turn red, test (eat) a claw to verify Recipe may be altered to suit taste but if you don't like what is presented here, you probaly don't like crabs Warning: Do not let the liquid evaporate, add water or beer as needed
Ingredients:
1-Cabbage (coursely chopped) 2-Stalks of celery (Sliced thin) 3-4 small baking potatos (Cut into Spoon size pieces) 2-small packages (or 1 large) of stew beef (cut as necesssary) Drained Shoe Peg Corn 2 beef cubes 1 large onion 2 Bay leaves Everglades Seasoning 1 Can Whole tomatos, juice and all Parsle
