Alfredo Linguine Shrimp Pasta Alfredo Chicken Breast Alfredo Angel hair Farfalle [bowties] Rainbow Rotini Fusilli Rigatoni Vermicelli Ziti Heck.....shells.....macaroni.....whatever you like in a pasta, it is so delicious with Alfredo Sauce.... even the kids will eat it. And it is pretty good as cold leftovers [while everyone is sleeping].
Cook any pasta you like for your base. Saute some chicken tenders, shrimp,or both, or lobster tail, or none of these. Saute some garlic, julienne-strip mini peppers,red-yellow-green bell peppers, zucchini or yellow squash, julienne or grated carrot, portabello mushrooms, whole or sliced chicken breast, or ALL of the above. Pour some Alfredo over it.....ya, a tasty, rich meal. Maybe a fresh-from-the-oven sliced Baquette with some butter and garlic powder on it....toasted ! [to go with it]
Now you just need some Alfredo Sauce......and I know where you can find the best EVER !!!! In your kitchen, made by YOU....SIMPLE, FAST, EASY, RICH,and delicious! In a warm saucepan....combine: 1 stick butter 1 8oz pkg cream cheese 1 cup half & half [or heavy cream] 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder [or to your taste, or none] 1/3 cup granulated parmesan cheese [Romano/Parmesan blend,you know, like you sprinkle on spaghetti]
Keep an eye on it, stirring gently often, until blended and creamy. Remember.....it will thicken as it cools.

FYI....Ha It's almost midnight and I just 'stole' a few fork-fulls of some Shrimp Alfredo Linguine from the fridge..... It is even good 'cold'.
