Created by God to remind us to "relax, and take life easy" and I'm listening!

Miyo 'disappeared'......and very shortly afterwards Biff died from what appeared to be poison..... Spotte and Dondo are still raising hell on the back porch. Dondo is a little lover and a cuddler.....and Spotte is a scaredy-cat that keeps his distance, therefore has not gotten his dose of flea/tick medicine, despite my talks with him that it is for HIS benefit.

So sad, it's tough to lose one. Out of the five latest kittens, one has disappeared and I suppose he has died or has been adopted by a kind sole. One came back from the woods with a broken leg, Muffi is recovering in Mama's bedroom. The cast comes off Tuesday, she is a doll and she thinks the cast is natural. I suspect she will be a tiger when she is freed from it's restrictions.
Keep talking to Spotte, you know how children are!

Probably----Update-the cast is off and she is doing just fine and is a tiger as I predicted.

I trust Muffi has adjusted to the inside environment with the others. Dondo came in the house over a month ago and he loves it, but it was sad to see Spotte outside obviously missing his brother. He would stay near the back door, then run around to the front porch and look in the window, back and forth, but still keep his distance from me. We would open the front door in the evenings and let them 'visit' through the screen......and the others would take their turns, sometimes hissing, but many rubbing thru the screen. A week or so ago, I came in from the back porch from smoking, and Spotte just walked in the house with me. He has gotten along fine with the others, even though he has spent most of his time under the couch. The last few days he has been out and about, loves being back with his brother, and really likes the laser pointer. Each day he gets closer to Jan and I, our movements bother him less, he doesn't hide as much,so he may make a cat yet. I've never had one that took this long.

I had one do the same, Candi walked in as if she has always been inside, no fear at all and is the most loving cat I have.
