Girls just wanna have guns! Did you ever wonder just when in history that all started. If today's girls wanna have guns, what did grandma want, she wanted guns too and she had them and knew how to use them. She tells a story about the day two men ran her model "A" off a rural road, she had her baby girl in the car, who later become my mother and when the two men started to advance toward them, she shot and wounded one of them and they hastily fled the scene, according to grandma.
How about my Great Grandma, I have no idea, reportedly she was deeply into voodoo, that was probably enough to scare off a would be attacker. In the early 1900's we've all heard of ladies like Ma Barker, I doubt if anyone messed with her. Of course we all know about the 1800's, there was Calamity Jane, Annie Oakley and Belle Star, the only time they got their man was whenever they wanted one, other wise the men kept their distance, the gals were packing!
Girls and weapons goes way, way, back to prehistoric times, I guess. Cave ladies, I suppose spoke softly and carried a big stick, they needed one to keep those big cave brutes in line. When those cave ladies wanted to get a little frisky, they carried a smaller stick, there are weapons for all occasions and threats.
Why am I boring you with grandmas, cave ladies, cowgirls and female gangsters, well to illustrate a point. The point is, when a woman wants something, she knows how to get it and if she doesn't want it, she packs a gun!
I'm glad "Girls Wanna Have Guns" but they should be required to wear a sign, "Caution, I'm Packing."
